Thank you so much!🎮
It's been 5 days since we released our latest game and we wanted to take this Monday to look over how the release went.
We've made a horror game before but the difference in releases has been like night and day. After the release of LevelHeaded, it shot up in views and downloads basically immediately and it is currently among all the popular horror games on Itch.io and we can't believe it. 1200+ downloads after 5 days, streamers and Youtubers playing it and nice words from people we've never met... it might not be a AAA release but it definitively feels like a win for us.
We have both been trying to get jobs in the game industry since we graduated as game developers in the spring of 2023 but have not been successful. It doesn't feel like there is room for juniors right now. But that's why it feels extra fantastic to get some feedback that what we can do is still of value to players. That we actually can make interesting games that people want to play without the need for validation from big companies who think we have too little experience.
It feels like there still is hope in the gaming industry even for the likes of us yet, even if it means we may have to go our own way.
Thank you for reading, for playing and for supporting us!

Hey, how are you? Like you, I'm pursuing a career in software, it's a shame that the video game industry isn't hiring juniors. I really enjoyed the game, why not start on your own and try your luck with a bigger project? In the short time in which this project was created, it's extremely well done, I can't imagine what you could achieve with a little more.
I'm a big fan of horror games, and a big fan of this game. At least here you have a little fan of your work, if you release something on steam I won't hesitate to go try it. Good luck to the whole team!
Hi! We are doing well this Wednesday, how are you? :D
Thank you so much, we really wanna keep on making games and maybe in the future we could make a living from it but it's a tough road to take. But we will keep trying and we def hope to see more from you as well as your game had some top tier atmosphere!
